At Tiny Tails Kitten Rescue, we believe adoption starts long before the paperwork is signed. Here’s what you can expect when you welcome a kitten home from us:
✅ HEALTH GUARANTEE: Adoption fees cover vet examination, vaccinations for the pet’s age, deworming, initial flea/tick prevention, FeLV/FIV testing (6 months and older), microchip, and age-depending spaying/neutering before going home. You’ll know everything about your kitten’s history, personality, and medical background before adoption day.
✅ LIFELONG SUPPORT: Questions about litter training, feeding, or behavior? We’re here for you – no time limit on our support. If circumstances shift unexpectedly, our kittens/cats will always have a home here.
✅ MATCHMAKING: We don’t just fill applications – we find the right fit between your lifestyle and your new kitten’s needs.

Adoption Requirements
21 years of age or older with a valid government issued ID.
Renters may be required to provide information stating that cats are permitted. In lieu of a lease, the landlord’s name and phone number must be given to shelter staff and included on the adoption application.
If you do not have young cats or other kittens, you will not be allowed to adopt just one kitten under 1 year old, you must adopt in pairs.

Adoption Contract
Once your application is reviewed, someone from our team will reach out to you within 5 business days.
If your application is approved, you will be required to fill and sign the adoption contract which will be sent to you via the email provided on your application.

Lilo & Stich
Lilo and Stich were found alone in Chicago without their mother and were given to CACC. They were bottle fed by Jade and Paul at TTKR. Once they were weaned, they were transitioned to foster care with Amy and Roger. They grew and thrived in foster care. Lilo and Stitch got to stay in the family and were adopted by Amy’s brother and his fiancé on June 2026.

Link comes from a tragic circumstance where their loving owners had a major flood in their home, forcing them out and causing the need to give up this lovely (cat) gentleman. He was staying at the Cat House Lounge until adopted this summer!
Aspen & Cedar
TTKR’s first foster fail! Aspen, Cedar, and Cypress belong to the same litter from Mama Mulberry. Two of these wild and adventurous kittens were being fostered by Oishee until she fell for these adorable fluff-balls right before their spay and neuter surgeries! Aspen and Cedar continues to grow into intelligent and active kittens with Oishee as of June 2026.
Atlas
TTKR’s first neonate rescue! He was named Atlas because he was found alone at only 5 days old with the weight of the world on his shoulder. He was treated and bottle-fed at Kohn Animal Hospital and went to live with Amy at 8 weeks old. Learning to be a cat all alone until then left Atlas with a steep learning curve ahead of him. However, Amy’s 3 adult cats became fond of the new critter in the house over the next 2 months. Amy couldn’t stand to separate Atlas from his new cat family and decided to adopt him on August 2026.
